Kizlyar Shashka TKV-2 - Russian officer's sword, which was armed with regular army units. The main difference from the Cossack shashka is the handle of the sword. Dragoon sword handle is equipped with a crosshair that goes around the grip. Using saber terminology we can say that dragoon saber hilt and pommel is to protect the hands. Crosshair checkers equipped with an opening which is used for securing the Lanyard. Wooden sheath is wrapped in black leather and has ring for belt attachment. All elements are made of brass.
