Description

The Russian Vepr 7.62x54r SVD style is a great alternative to the original SVD(dragunov) rifle that is banned for import. in the United States. Riffle was professionally outfitted with custom made SVD style furniture that is made exclusively for Legion USA by Izhevsk masters Russia. This high quality wood set incorporates a slotted handguard, ergonomic grip, engraved rubber buttpad, and original SVD cheek rest. Barrel is threaded allowing for a wide variety of muzzle attachments, rifle comes equipped with original SVD type flash hider. All you need is a Soviet optic which can be mounted via side scope rail, and you have a truly unique SVD clone. Due to the limited production this rifles are offered in small batches.

I'm sorry for anyone that couldn't order one of these when they were available. They are truly a work of art, and the wood is finished to perfection. Very fast delivery and repackaged very well to ensure it wouldn't get damaged. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with this company again and again.

Being a first time purchaser of a rifle online left me a bit nervous to say the least. I've had my mind set on a Vepr 23' 7.62 rifle with a ‘SVD’ style for quite a while. None of my local area gun stores carried more than the stock Walnut version (plus shorter barrels only) and could not procure one either. After weeks of online research, I narrowed my choices down to this particular rifle and Atlantic Firearms SVD Style Vepr. In the past I've dealt with Atlantic for accessories with success, however I never dealt with Legion (neither have the people I talked with). However, Legion's rifle matched perfectly with the 'SVD' style I was hoping to mimic. The Atlantic version, although cheaper, looked exactly that, cheap. I decided to push aside my nervousness (dealing with new vendor & first online gun purchase) and ordered. Ordering on Thursday night, I received a call from my FFL the next Wednesday that my rifle arrived. Talk about a quick turnaround, Legion shipped the rifle out the very next day! The rifle itself is beautiful to say the least and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! The quick service of Legion and the quality product will have me returning again for future purchases!

Just got this delivered to my local gunstore today and couldn't be happier with it. The entire gun, but especially the hand carved wooden furniture, is simply perfection. If you're looking for a SVD clone this is it. I will be buying from legion USA again.
